i checked into the price of a bryston 4b from a local shop i could get it for about 20 percent of but that's still 4k looks like ill have to go used or outlaw or emo to stay at my budget .

Hey sorry for getting back to you a little late, I havent really looked at my thread much. How are you?
Yeah, I wanted to see what the new Digm Monitor v7 series sounded like. Good speakers, tighter bass then the v6s, slightly smoother highs, not as tinny sounding, but the mids were a little more thin sounding, and so I actually liked the v6 I think a little more, especially when you compare the looks of them, v6 is much better looking, classic Paradigm.
I was there so I felt it would be fun to listen to some of what they had. If I had had more time I would have listened to some Anthony Gallos and Magnepans, but I had already been there an hour, and had to get back to work. I got to hear the Studios again, its honestly the first time I liked the Studios, I think positioning and gear pairing helped a lot. But Im not looking for any new gear.
You know, the Bryston might just not be possible, but at least you will have a very kick-ass setup. So what do you think you will end up buying? |
