Hopefully she finds it for you, I'm going to pick it up next time I'm at BB or FS. New bd releases are slim this month but we've got a few we would like to get in August. I'd like to get,

1.Sons of Anarchy
2.Dexter
3.Jaws
and the wife wants Vampire Diaries.

Any bd's your looking forward to?

She found it, said they only had 2 copies, so far it sounds very good. Ive only listened to 2 tracks so far.

I still need to buy MI:4, There isnt a ton of blus I want to buy. I might look at making a blu-ray round up on the 16th, buy like 3-4, not sure what exactly Id want yet tho.

It has to be one of the lesser compressed albums I have heard in a long time. I just flipped over to dr.loudness-war.info website, and it looks like the album gets a fairly clean bill of health, compared to what you get on most cds, and it sounds like.

Overall its a little more laidback then what Jack White has done in the past, but it sounds very good. I like this album so far.

yeah, its a pretty good album, its rock, but its a little tamer then what you would get with with white stripes or Racontours, he uses pianos, stand up bass, and other instruments, its more closely resembles a modern SRV like style.

You would probably like John Mayer Where The Light Is and Taken is a good bd to watch. The Police Certifiable is an awesome sounding bd, The Police aren't my favorite though. Michael Jackson This Is It is better than you would expect it to be, another really good sounding bd with some slammin bass.

I have John Mayer Where the Light Is on cd. I play it frequently enough. I did like Taken, so that would be a possibility. Police Certifiable would be cool, I have their collection album on Vinyl, Every Breath You Take, I do like the Police, they are a chill and cool band. Michael Jackson might work with the wife, I know that she likes him. I have one of the greatest hits albums, even those have some good bass in them.

thanks for the suggestions, Ive been going thru the recent releases here on bd.com seeing what is out there.

so whats the plan for the weekend?

Here's another two suggestions,

David Glimour Live at Royal Albert Hall
Adele Live at Royal Albert Hall

I have David Glimour and it's excellent, they really get the ambience right with the sound mix, your really able to hear all the reverb and such in the surrounds. Would like to get Adele as it's supposed to be excellent as well, it's one I always forget about when shopping for bd's though.

My son has a birthday party that I have to take him to on Sunday and tomorrow I need to work for a few hours and then the wife has a list of jobs to be done around the house. After that I plan to do as little as possible or we might try to get a baby sitter and see a movie Saturday night. I'd like to see Ted, don't remember if it's in theaters yet.

What about you?

sorry bud, i fell asleep pretty quickly last night

David Gilmore is one that I keep forgetting about. I remember seeing it at big daddy's house, we watched a few songs before moving to something else. Ill have to look that one up. Ill have to sneak adelle in the house, my wife cant stand her... idk why either.

today we are going to the beach, tomorrow we will probably just chill out after church, clean up the house, and such. I want to BBQ something tomorrow, so maybe some ribs or steak... we'll see what they have. A steak with some grilled veggies and rice pilaf... sounds great to me.... but if the steaks are too expensive, perhaps theyll have some back ribs on sale still and we can make my homemade polynesian bbq sauce.
