I'll start...

When I get back from my travels I will be getting a Sony-Ericsson Idou:

Features include:

Full touch screen
12.1MP camera with AF and Xenon flash
Walkman
Micro-SD expansion (Yay, no M2!)
Wi-fi, 3G connectivity
Full browser (TBD)

I would consider an iPhone, but my aversion to most things Apple, the lack of a decent camera and no Vodafone pretty much rules it out.

How about you guys, what do you think you will be getting in the near future?

I love my iPhone. It's not perfect..... the camera does suck..... I can't get picture text messages.... no copy and paste... and no user changable battery. However.... the apps are what make the iPhone. Tens of thousands of apps ranging from HORRIBLE... to now that I found it I just can't live without it. I deleted all the apps that I never use the other day.... and still ended up with over 80 apps that I use pretty regularly. And games...... I'd venture to say the iPhone has the biggest game selection of any phone and many of them are free.

If a GSM version of the new Palm phone comes out I may get that but I still have a place in my heart to get a Nokia e90.

I wouldn't mind an Xperia either. I'm a sucker for smartphones.

I use the LG Prada and kind of hate it. Wish I got the Viewty.

I'm waiting to see what happens with the Android platform. I'm really loving my G1, a lot more than I expected. I figured I'd be back to my iPhone, but I'm going on a month and I'm not really missing it. My only complaints are with the hardware itself, so if they make a sexier phone with Android on it, I'll be all over it.

That Idou looks soooo fit!

When's that out? I've got the W980i but its slow as crap when your texting with the music on. Really slow.

I was playing around with the Blackberry Storm and kinda like the tactile feel of it. I don't care for games or music or camera pixel-size or any of the other apps everyone raves about.

I just want to make calls...kinda like what it was originally intended for!:p

I'll be getting an iPhone when G4 networks start going up later this year (conveniently around the time my current contract runs out). Until then, I've lovin my Blackberry Curve!

I would wait for the 2nd gen Storm. There has been a lot of problems with the Storm and it hasn't gotten good reviews. I had 2 friends that got Storms and they both returned them because they hated it.

I have a Curve, which is adequate for me because I use it more for email and text than calls and I like the full QWERTY keyboard. I would have considered an Iphone but I have a company phone and we don't use AT&T so I have to settle for an Ipod Touch.

Thx for the heads up on that! I wasn't going to get it right away, but now I'll certainly hold back and wait.

So It looks like Canada will be Getting 4G Networks before 2010 in Vancouver in Time for the Olympics, Initial Tests showed speeds of 50 mbps, and they think that it should top out at 70 mbps during the Launch.

I'm still hung up on my Razr2, but that's because it was free and I don't know which phone to move on to. Any Suggestions? I like the look of that Sony at the Beginning... It's hot.

I can't upgrade until December. Got the Iphone now, but idk what I'll get quite yet....I'm sure a couple new phones would be out by then and I'll change my mind from now till then LOL I'd love to get that phone your getting Max. It won't be out in the U.S. huh?

I was just reading that the 3.0 update for the iPhone is supposed to be out next month. I'm interested to see what the changes will be. MMS and Copy & Paste are rumored to be more than just speculation.

I'm sure the new version of Pwnage will be out within a week of its release. If only they'd fix the bug in OSX 10.5.6 that prevents DFU mode . . . THAT'S a PITA.

It's about time Sprint had an exclusive phone that was worth looking forward to.

I got the Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote & Mic today for my iPhone. I'm expecting the new iPhone to fully support the remote.

I am loving that Idiou or whatever it's called. As long as it doesn't have WinMo. Android would be hot, but I've always liked Symbian myself. I was a big fan of UiQ and SE's old P-series smart phones. I really wish one of them would bring back the 5D jog dial since I found it VERY useful, especially for one handed use.

I would also like a removable hard button flip since I prefer physical buttons (especially for the number pad/texting).

For an iPhone to win my purchase, it must have MMS and copy/paste (basic basic functoinality) and at least a 5mp camera. I would prefer flash, removable memory, and removable battery, but am not hard set on it. I am more about convergence and Internet on my cell phone, t hough, so want it to be able to function as a decent PDA and camera, as well as be a GOOD cell phone. Then internet on top of that is a luxury.
