I just got home from a Q&A with Pat Carroll in Orlando, FL, who said something very interesting. She says that she has recently recorded NEW voice work for the 3D release of The Little Mermaid, and that the film would feature new footage that was deleted in storyboard phase back in 1989.

So, according to Ursula herself, we'll be seeing more than just a new restoration.
