I haven't rage quite yet but it's funny, the post above by you is accurate too. The lag and hit boxes are dodgy as hell and tbh, the aiming doesn't exactly feel great in 3rd person. It feels janky.

I also loved the idea of Star fighters and battles in the sky but the way the ships handle is weird. I can turn right and left, up and down just fine using inverted flight controls but the way it translates onto on screen is weird.

Like i am gonna probably give a useless example for some here as reference but Fortnite had an "Air Royale" mode and you could spin the plane left and right into barrel rolls, turn it upside down and bank turns really well and it felt fluid and intuitive.

The space battles don't feel as fluid because the ships don't seem to handle as easily. I suppose another game i could mention is Warhawk but that's even longer.

The multiplayer in this is an absolute blast! In fact, it's better than the actual campaign, imho.

Liking it a lot.

I played for quite a while yesterday and had a lot of fun. Even though those large epic battles have quite a bit of open map I never felt like I was standing around looking for someone to shoot at. That was one of my problems with the last Battlefield game.

I also learned real quick that if you come face to face with a Jedi you might as well just stand there and take a lightsaber to the face. Not sure how many bullets they can take but it was always more than what I shot at them.

Yeah, once the Hero/Villain shows up, either run or hope they're occupied with someone else. They're super powered to defeat.

I'm playing the offline modes, Instant Action, but I'm finding while the maps are much larger and very welcome to explore, there are hardly any enemies to battle much of the time. It makes this game absolutely pale in comparison to the offline original Battlefront Star Wars games, and even the epic and awesome Skirmish mode from the last PS4 Battlefront 1.

Even so, I really wish they would take down these invisible walls for these modes where you're allowed to roam. There is plenty of space to walk, but you can't because there's a dumb timer saying to go back when you reach it. Ruins the sense of freedom in these games.

The forest levels are nice, though Endor is the best but only available in the last game, which I'm going to replay to remember how cool the offline Skirmish mode was, with the giant AT ATs to defeat. That was awesome. This game's offline mode doesn't have anything even close to that.

Good improvements in options and new levels, but a step down from the last game in terms of epic battles offline.

I enjoy CO-OP so glad they made that available offline.

If I want to fly around in ships, the only way is Arcade offline. That kinda sucks.

The game is definitely made first & foremost around online with offline as an after thought.

So, the previous Battlefield had a better single-player? I didn't think it had single-player at all. Is it still worth getting at this time if you're primarily interested in doing single-player? Is it's multiplayer still active at all?

With good reason. Online multiplayer rocks. I don’t think it be half as fun playing it offline.

Anyone managed to get their “Level up to Rank 25” trophy pop up after completing rank 26?

Upon doing some research it appears to be a glitchy trophy but I’m already in Rank 34 and that trophy never popped up. While others have mentioned it popping up after level up to rank 26. Any suggestions?

I remember some people had a level 50 trophy glitch which I remember Dice fixing.

Never heard of the 25 one being glitched.

Got my Platinum back in 2017 so haven’t been up to date on latest trophy issues.

Two and a half Months later I finally got the Maul Old Master Skin. God Damn that was a grind. As a result Maul and Palpatine are my strongest Heroes. Hell I don't even know why I bothered, but I dedicated my time to it.

I don’t know how accurate this info is, but supposedly this game has been seeing a marked resurgence in player count this month. Like reaching levels of engagement the game hasn’t had in years. Must be the perfect combo of May the 4th hype, Andor season 2 finale and the lack of an equivalent Star Wars online multiplayer game alternative.

I picked it up for the first time today, since every time I see footage it looks like a ton of fun. Looking forward to jumping in and joining the party.

Apparently, many are pushing for a Battlefront 3 and here I am playing a 2017 game for the first time.
