You just need to look at releases like Aquaman, Captain Marvel, How to Train Your Dragon 3, Toy Story 4 and Alita: Battle Angel to see that 3d titles are still being released - not to mention that people still want to be able to watch the titles they spent a lot of money collecting. Yes it's niche, but its still a feature that fans will actively seek out.
