https://www.marvel.com/comics/issue/...y's%20Hope.

WHAT IF…CARTER BURKE HAD LIVED? For years, fans of James Cameron's legendary Aliens questioned whether Carter Burke, a company man more hateable than the Xenos themselves, had actually survived the traumatic events on the terraforming colony Hadley's Hope. Now the actor behind the beloved villain, Paul Reiser, joins his son Leon and the star-studded team of writers and producers Adam F. Goldberg, Brian Volk-Weiss and Hans Rodionoff for a journey back to Hadley's Hope and the twisted escape of a man who should have died.

Somehow, Burke returned…..

Ya know, as sad as that thought even is, it wouldn’t shock me, LOL. Who’s playing Burke though? Reiser isn’t so young any longer.

An Alien: Isolation sequel is apparently in early development.

From the Alien: Isolation Facebook page. I can't log in to confirm because I don't have a Facebook account.

Prequel/Ridley Scott haters, rejoice! The man has told Screen Rant he's done with the franchise.

He didn't say it out loud, but it's likely all in Fede Álvarez's hands now.

Romulus was awesome and kept up with things introduced in Prometheus and Covenant so I'm pretty content with Fede Álvarez holding the reigns of the movies.

Opposite for me, Romulus pretty much killed any interest for me.

I was actually really on board with what Ridley was doing, so this is pretty depressing. But not too surprising, considering the way those films were treated. Looking forward to his other films as always.

Although Romulus worked better overall as a film, I was hoping Scott would finish the trilogy with David. But alas, it seems like with Miller we'll never get a final third film.

I've made my peace with the fate of the prequels.

If Álvarez keeps integrating the prequel lore in his upcoming Romulus sequels (perhaps even concluding David's storyline), I'll be a happy camper because that's better than alternatives that would've been very convenient for the studio: to ignore or retcon it.

I agree it's better than nothing. But I feel like even if we get some fun and gory movies, we'll never see anything substantial in terms of story and development of the series again. Cameron makes his Avatars without caring what happens to his baby Terminator, Lucas I don't even want to comment on. Sometimes it's not the studio, but the fans that can ruin everything. Scott only has a handful of movies left considering his age, but at least he try.

Romulus had the right look and feel at times but fell apart horribly about halfway through or thereabouts.

I wasnt much on board with Ridleys insistence on trying to make some convoluted backstory for the Xenos. They dont need it. It just got silly and weird. David was a cool android character(sometimes anyways) but thats it. Suddenly he was front and center and I was supposed to fall for that. I couldnt & didnt. I know Ridley hated what Cameron did but a whole bunch of us loved it. . Hes been trying to "undo" Aliens for decades now.

First two movies are wonderful though. We owe Ridley a huge thanks for getting this all going. I just think he went a little off the rails with the prequel stuff.

Let Alvarez do whatever. Doesnt really matter.

Ridley Scott seemed so checked out with Covenant, there felt like very little enthusiasm behind it, particularly when it came to the titular creature and the way he portrayed it on screen.
