I read that people who have been redeeming the 4K UHD codes of the Spider-Man trilogy set, have been able to contact Sony and get the alternate versions of SM 2 and 3 added to their accounts in HDX (that's their highest quality). Anyone know how I'd contact Sony? I'd call, but I don't want to deal with them questioning me about my code.

It's not the UHD code, but I bought this Blu Ray set: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Spide...lu-ray/100487/ back in 2014 and redeemed the code in VUDU. And last year, the extra cuts of 2 and 3 were added automatically, with their own listings in my UV library (so not just as digital extras) and then porting to Movies Anywhere when that service launched.
I thought it was an amazing bonus since the physical set didn't even include the Editor's Cut of 3 and I was already interested in that. As for getting them added, my best guess would be to contact the retailer you redeemed the code with and explain it is missing the extra digital movies, could be hit or miss depending on company (I find VUDU's support is awful) or customer service representative you get, and failing that, try Sony's home entertainment division (right from their website: For DVD, Blu-ray or digital copy questions, you can reach Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Customer Service directly at consumer@SPHECustomerSupport.sony.com or 1-800-860-2878). |

The movies anywhere app has the 2.0 and editors cut as special features. Same goes for a lot of movies, friday, id4, fantastic 4 (05), grandmas boy, daredevil and electra all have the extended cut as special features.

I, among others refuse to use their app or site because they fail to see the logic in anything and are always causing issues within everyone's library. LOL

I don't think you can get them as separate titles, unfortunately. I bought the five-movie steelbook 4K set late last year.
The alternate cuts are in MA, but as extras, meaning they can't be downloaded. A bit annoying, because they're on MA as separate titles available to buy. The same thing happened with The Wolverine, the extended cut is the main title and the theatrical cut is an extra. Dunno why these can't get two titles like BvS did. The alternate cuts aren't on my Vudu copies at all, there's not even any extras for the trilogy. I contacted MA support back when I got it. They had me send in a picture of my redemption code along with the discs themselves. Then they said the code was only for the theatrical cuts. |

I contacted support and they asked for pictures of the disk to which I then sent and got given UHD for Amazing Spider-Man 1, 2 and Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3. Spider-Man 2 and 3 extended/editor cuts are HD only and no UHD digital. Flixster and Sony I have found to be very good at getting things sorted pretty quickly 99% of the time. For my US codes unfortunately I can't say the same for most of the redeem store fronts. For actual issues with US codes Lionsgate has been the best support I gotten. VUDU and paramount forget it. |

If anyone's watched these on Disney+, is Spider-Man 1 cropped? I'm at a family gathering and can't check on a TV or my laptop, but on my phone it seems to be in a wider aspect ratio than it should be. iOS blocks me from getting screenshots, but it seems closer to 2.00 instead of 1.85. Other films I know are 1.85 look correct on my phone, so I don't think it's an issue with the app.
