Creepshow is just like Creepshow 2 only CS1 has 5 stories. Just get it can't go wrong with Stephen King and George Romero.

If you liked #2, then the first is a sure bet. You'll love it. I like both movies, but the first is undoubtedly the best. Gory, funny, great actors. I got mine in the mail yesterday, and I'm gonna buy a ton of candy and enjoy it this weekend.

He's correct. If you liked the 2nd, you will definitely like the first. I'm sure any video store wil have the dvd for rental, if you don't want to blind buy.

The first Creepshow is only like $14 on blu-ray, a real no-brainer.

I'll look for any excuse to participate in a discussion about Creepshow. I love Hal Holbrook's performance in the film. He is so sympathetic, even in the end. What he does is so believable and justified, even though it is absurd.

Another great anthology film is the original, early seventies Tales From the Crypt. It is fairly cheap and easy to get on DVD. If you enjoy Creepshow at all, and like horror, you will love this. Twilight Zone and Black Sabbath are also quite good.

I agree with much of that list. I thought From Beyond the Grave was very lame. And Vault of Horror isn't good horror, but it is hilarious at times. Also surprised Trilogy of Terror isn't on there.

for sure, had this on dvd awhile back & didn't mind it,I heard when it was released on VHS there were so many tapes to watch the movie!

the dvd had 1 & 2 parts on a double-sided disc

Warner Brothers have announced a theatrical reboot, to be released in 2011.

Think Creepshow looks and sounds wonderful in HD. See some people left some negative comments on the picture on Amazon. But I dont see anything wrong with it. Mutch better then The DVD version. The DVD was a direct Laserdisc I think?
Yeah sucks thoe we did not get any great special features. Would of loved to hear a tag team commentary with Stephen King, and George A. Romero?
Looking forward to reading King's next book Under The Dome when it hits book stores this November. Right now I'm in the middle of reading Just After Sunset been loving it so far.

Would you settle for a George Romero and Tom Savini audio commentary, a 5.1 remix, a two-hour documentary, behind-the-scenes footage shot by Savini, deleted scenes, and a trailer? Then you want this. Sorry, not on blu-ray yet.

Damn that blows! Even the UK Crapshow 3 has an awesome cover! I should've gotten a region free dvd player.

Creepshow one of my all time favourite horrors of all time, i have it on dvd and i am definatly getting it on blu ray. Creepshow 2 was good but not up to the original, and Creepshow 3 was pretty much a pointless bore. Don't bother if you haven't seen it. There are rumors of a creepshow 4 and it doesn't sound promising. Shame. "The Crate" and Something to tide you over rock".
