Default Using tv speakers?

Does anyone here still use TV speakers. In my bedroom I have a xbr7, I really cant justify buying a sound bar, and I like the clean look of just the tv on the tv stand.

I do all my gaming on the xbr also. Can using the internal speakers have affect on longevity of the tv.
Living Room:

Samsung PN50B650, Sony BDP560, Xbox 360 Slim, Wii, & Yamaha YAS71 Soundbar.

Bedroom:

Sony 46XBR9 & Sony Ps3 slim

I've never heard of this being an issue. If it were in your living room I would say to definitely get separate speakers. In a bedroom, not necessarily. However, your gaming experience would be enhanced significantly if you were using something other than the TV's speakers.

The reason for the sound system is for the sound track & the way A sound system sounds compared to the TV speakers . TV speakers will not give you the affect that A sound system does .

Weather you use the TV speakers or not will not affect its longevity at all .

During the winter I use my HTS for TV and Movies because my furnace is right downt the hallway from my living room. It gets loud, so instead of running the chance of blowing my tv speakers by turning the volume up all the time; I keep my HTS on.
