no, the screen is too small to tell a difference.

At normal viewing distance (about 10 feet) to see a fully resolved 1080p picture, the screen would have to be 70".

So for a 32" you would have to sit about 4 feet away (or closer) to tell the difference!

YES. I had bought my GF a Panasonic 32" in 720p. I wish I had spend the extra money to get the Sharp 32" in 1080p. I notice more grain in 720p then 1080p. I feel the Picture Quality in 1080p is sharper, more vivid and less pixely. Though the average Joe probably won't be able to tell, I'm pretty picky when it comes to PQ.

I got a 40" LNT4042H samsung 720p. Looks good to me but im a joe. Its my understanding that anything 42" and under does not 1080. I am very sastified. It sucks that Best Buy now has it on Sale for 1250 and is giving away a Sony Home entertainment sound system with it. That sucks, it missed it by two weeks.

HEY SDG!! Usually BB has a 14-30 day return policy or price match gurantee! I used to work there just go in and see if they will do it, if they won't ask to speak to a manager and tell him/her that you will gladly return the TV and 9 times out of 10 the manager will cave in because he does not want to take a tv return hit for the stores numbers for the day! It's worth a shot what have you got to loose?

You have to understand that your 720 TV if it's native 720 x 1280 pixels, shows 1080i as 720 x 1280 pixels, nothing more. So true 1080p would be an image double the area. (A 48 incher )

unless you're sitting so far away far away you'd normally have to squint... it doesn't matter... get a bigger TV if you want 1080p... 1080p for 32inches is OVERKILL!
Why So XERIOUS?
