Default October 4 going to be an expensive day!

Pulp Fiction, Lion King, Fast Five, and Space Jam all on the SAME day! Wow, it's like Christmas is coming early!

What is everyone else buying that day?

**Edit-thanks to phoenixram1977, just found out NBA 2k12 also coming out!

Not expensive for me. The only one of these I plan on buying is Lion King.

I'm disappointed in this, I thought for sure you'd be picking up Pulp Fiction

I probably will, but I'll wait for a price drop. $16 is just a little too much. When it gets down around $12 I'll bite.

Pee Wee, Scream 4, Lion King, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Cinema Paridiso, Dead Alive, and maybe Salo. One hell of an expensive day.

How could I forget?! That actually used to be one of my favorite movies growing up. I must have been about 6 or 7 when it came out on VHS, and I must have watched it 20 times or so back then. Funny how now I don't remember much about it at all.

There have been way more expensive release days than the 4th is going to be.

I'll be picking up Pulp Fiction, and maybe Jackie Brown...

Not for me. I haven't had a day yet where I'm definitely going to buy 4. I think the most I've purchased on one release day is 3.

I already have Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown pre-ordered. The only other title that I will be picking up on that day will be The Lion King.
Allegory of the Cave:

Plato - What does it mean to be a good person?
Descartes - What does it mean to be?
Nietzche - What does it mean?
Bertrand Russell - What does "it" mean?
C.S. Lewis - What does it?
Lil' Jon - WHAT?!?!?

Lion King is great! I have "emotional ties" to it AND Space Jam. Those are 2 movies my nephew used to watch over and over on DVD. He used to ask me to come watch them with him, and I would even though we had already seen them five times each! I miss those days. Kids grow up so fast.

I agree. Expensive for me as well with some very much anticipated releases-- Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, The Lion King 3D, Beauty and the Beast 3D, Fast Five, Dead Alive, Harakiri and Life is Beautiful!
