After watching the season finale

I knew I couldn't wait 'til October

so I went straight to ebay looking for The Walking Dead books. Sure enough there are plenty listed, but they're not going for cheap... I tried Craigslist and got lucky: was able to score the 1088 pages Compendium One (which has issues 1 through 48), the hardcover Book 5 (49-60) and The Watchmen as a bonus, for $25!

The Compendium alone goes for about $35 on Amazon.

And now for some quality time with my new books...

One thing you might want to see if you can get is the walking dead weekly books there is only 52 but it makes it a little bit cheaper I think. My wife got all of those then got the graphic novels to fill in the gap to catch up on all the issues.

I got the first Compendium, which has issues 1 through 48, plus Book 5, which has issues 49 through 60... why bother with the single issues?!

Plus I got a great deal.

Nice! I was thinking about ordering the Compendium as well. They are almost at issue #96 so hopefully a 2nd one should be on its way soon.

I went all out and ordered all 7 of the hardcover books. I have 1, 4, and 7 now. and 2, 3, 5, and 6 should be here Tuesday. They are some very nice quality books. Finished book 1 in one sitting, obviously doesn't take that long to read through it but damn, I really wanted to start the 2nd one after finishing.

comiXology had all issues on The Walking Dead for $4.99. I had to jump on this so I don't end up paying $9.99 per Volume. I only spent $20 and I'm caught up until the next Volume is released.

I finished Volume 11 and will start Volume 12. Interesting issues regarding the Hunters. I need to slow it down because I'll end up catching up.

I have along way to go, I just started reading the first volume of the Compendium...I can't believe how different it is from the series...its a good read so far thou.

Sweet, I was waiting for Volume 17 to come out. I download my stuff from the Comix app and read from my iPad. I will wait though when it's $4.99.
