Default (bad) Movies you watch just for the actresses

Starting off-
I'm planning on watching The Other Woman just for Natalie Portman(the only other movies I've seen with her in it are Star Wars and Thor).

I don't watch it just for the actresses but Charlize Theron and Connie Nielson definitely don't hurt The Devil's Advocate.

I've never wasted my time watching a film just because a hot actress is in it. I'd rather watch porn, or search Google for said actress, than waste 2 hours watching a bad movie.

I've never watched a movie just for the actress, otherwise I would've watched a bunch of Nicole Kidman stinkers when I was younger.

I did watch Underworld: Awakening last night and other than Kate Beckinsale, that movie was a bunch of haphazard garbage with a really flimsy plot trying to connect a bunch of action scenes together and the characters were horribly underwritten. The supporting actors were horribly wasted in that movie.

+1

In the pre-internet era, I could understand wasting a couple of hours watching some terrible movie hoping for some hot actress boobies, but nowadays all of the "important" scenes will be widely available on the net within minutes of the film hitting DVD/Blu, so it's a total waste on money.

I'm not talking about watching a movie just to see an actress in a certain scene. If you're a fan of an actress or you simply think she's hot, would you watch the movie?

For example,
In 2005, my school friends and I had just finished our exams and we had to pass a couple of hours till the evening. We decided to go for a movie (there was this place that allowed us to go to PG-13 movies even though we were only 9/10). We reached the place and there was almost nothing worth watching. These were the Posters & Production Pictures in the hall of the movies that were playing :

Sky High

Must Love Dogs

Dukes of Hazzard

Obviously, we went for DOH. We were 9/10 and those pics alone were enough to make us go "HOLY F**** " . (you can imagine the reaction during the pink bikini scene ).

Basically, all of them were bad movies but DOH was at least a little enjoyable due to Jessica. We didn't go in expecting a great movie. We went in to watch Jessica Simpson strut around in skimpy outfits. And it delivered in that respect. (ALso, some of the car chases weren't that bad. AC/DC music was great as well).
If you had to kill 2 hours and you had only those three options, which would you honestly pick?

I'd pick either Sky High or Must Love Dogs, they at least have a good actor/actress in them.

Anyone can go into PG-13 movies, it's just a suggestion. Unlike R's 17 restriction.

(I used to work at a theatre and I'd laugh whenever some little kids would tell me they're 13, even though they were around 8, to get into some PG-13 movie )

It's not really about that. I am a huge fan of Winona Ryder and will watch anything she does. I am loyal, and even if its a bad movie, I find her fascinating to watch.

I don't see why I wouldn't watch a film, if it has my favourite actress in it.

Yep. I don't think I would have watched the movie otherwise. I liked it, but maybe I wouldn't depending on who else played her role. Same kinda goes for Red Riding Hood. She and Gary Oldman being in it is what got me interested to see the movie.

Not really! If I own a movie it's because I like it. If I dislike the movie even if it's an actor or actress I do enjoy their work from time to time, I won,t own it nor won't be bother to see it again. Anyone looking at my collection would find some reall cheesy stuff I am sure but if I have them it's because I like them.

Like I always say, I have my collection to make me happy, not others.
