I noticed that the The Princess Bride is not on the list yet. It is on sale and for rent already.

what are you talking about it was cancelled months ago. They just released a 20th Anniversary DVD though so we might hope for a Blu release in 2008

A lot of the MGM catalog titles they've announced have been in need of major work, and TPB is probably one of them

Understatement. I watched a broadcast HD of it a while back, and I've seen DVDs that looked better.

awesome movie it was on tv earlier this week... i remember seeing it on amazon for blu ray but listed as "currently unavaliable"
