I found this on FNAC and was just wondering if anyone knew if this was a steel or if it's just a metalpak?

We had better ask Kynch to check this out. He goes to fnac at least once a week.

Star Trek in steelbook packaging would be more exciting than an "adult toy" powered by a dilithium crystal.

Release date is next Monday, so not even Kynch will be able to predict what it will be before that for sure.

You would be lucky to get a metal one. The slip cover I got on tuesday with season 1 was standard cover that comes with every other blu-ray here in the UK

Ohly moly 89 EURO!!! that like 140$CAD! LOL if it's region free it would be cheaper for Europeen to buy it at Amazon.com even with taxes, fee, etc..

Yeah I saw it in store today and it was a cardboard slipcover, nothing more. The only "metal" was the shine on the cover.

Okay, just wanted to let you know that it was in fact only the DVD releases that got a metal slipcover, better pic than the other I tried taking today:
