I love this show, although not for the same reasons as some above. haha! After the first show, I was hooked and decided to read the books. I'm halfway through the third book in the series and loving it! Hope HBO keeps this show for a while.

Man, I'm at work and can't stop listening to Bad Things, by Jace Everett. It may be one of my favorite theme songs.

Default The Beatles

So who else would like to see HELP! or A Hard Day's Night or any of the other Beatles movies on blu? I think they would benifite greatly from the audio opportunities alone!

Help!
A Hard Day's Night
Magical Mystery Tour
Yellow Submarine

I grew up listening to Beatles songs during my early childhood in the sixties. I had many of their album releases on vinyl.

I would buy these individually or in boxed sets should they ever be released on Blu-ray.

Is anyone else mad at how bad the Yellow Submarine DVD was? Non-anamorphic picture with Dolby Digital sound. The sound is awful even though I've heard some ok DD sound. This is the Beatles, they should have spent some time to get it right.
"There's a good wrestler, and a bad wrestler whom he confronts at the end. In between, the good wrestler has a love interest or a child he has to protect. Bill would usually make the good wrestler a backwoods type, or a convict. And sometimes, instead of a waif, he'd have the wrestler protecting an idiot manchild. The studio always hated that. Oh, some of the scripts were so... spirited!"

Well I saw the VHS version back in the late 80's or was it the early 90's. Anyway, it wasn't that bad for a VHS release. About four years ago I got a hankering to see it again especially on DVD. Well, I was told by the local merchants who couldn't even find the DVD title in their databases at all, that it was no longer in production. The local library and the university library still had the VHS version so I dug up my old VHS player and watched on that. I have never seen a DVD, VHS, or vinyl version of it anywhere not even in the local book/buy/sell/trade shops which are scattered all over this university town. It's like they've gone the way of the dodo bird.

I would say no matter how bad it looks, if you got a DVD copy, hang on to it! It's probably a collectors item by now. I haven't looked for it on it eBay but I wouldn't be surprised that it'd be going for quite a few clams there.

If Yellow Submarine ever comes out on Blu-ray, that will definitely be worth celebrating.

I've never seen a Beatles movie. Closest is Across the Universe. If they start releasing them on BD, I may finally see them. I'm most curious about watching Yellow Submarine.

Can't really be all that mad. It was, after all, done over 10 years ago in the early days of DVD. And they did spend a lot of time remastering the video and audio back, you obviously never saw/heard what it looked like on home video before then!

Only one episode left? I was really getting into this show. Guess I'll start watching Dexter until next season starts up.
Now the real pain begins, Danny-boy.

I was seriously not expecting the killer to be who he is, lol. I had to pause my tv for a minute and look at the eyes of the man in the picture to realize who he was. Different haircut and totally clean shaven makes him look very very different. Anybody else as surprised as me about the big reveal?
