I'm wondering if anyone is using any of the miniDSP Dirac based components around here at all? I know a few people on AVS that are using the two of the 88's for full Atmos room correction and bass management.

My sub (Paradigm Sub 15) has the capability of using the Paradigm Bass Kit to EQ the sub, which is similar to Anthem's ARC.

I am in the midst of breaking the new sub in and will apply PBK at the 100 hour mark. (20hrs right now).

I bought this sub so that i had more options in the future and didn't have to sacrifice one brand over another because of sub eq ht or something similar.

Now i have independent control, which uses a laptop, far more powerful computations than Audyssey, YPAO, etc.

It also has XLR inputs for complete isolation. Which is what i want as i am considering separates in the future.

Just my .02's.

Hey there sonic debauchery, very interesting point's made on the Paradigm Sub 15 with the Bass Kit. Having an independent control by use of a lap top along with XLR input's would be very handy .

This is something I've never given any thought to, because I always thought the auto setup in my AVR took care of it. This thread prompted me to do some checking and come to find out, it appears the auto setup in my AVR (MCACC) doesn't really do much for bass EQ.

Now that I'm looking around at the various options already listed in this thread, the miniDSP 2x4 HD looks very appealing for the price and for the past couple of hours I've been sitting here reading and watching videos about it.
