Default is Le Cinéma de Max Linder English friendly?

Does the "Le Cinéma de Max Linder" disc have any English option for the title cards? Not asking for the cards to be in English, but are there English subtitles for them?

There are two Linder sets that are both English friendly and are both pretty great. Buy with confidence.

Based on the listing on filmaf, it looked like "Max Linder: Les longs métrages américains" was basically redundant to "Le Cinéma de Max Linder"... is there a reason to get both?

Le Cinema de Max Linder has 10 shorts and Les longs metrages americains has three, one hour long films and one short. I don't think there's any redundancy and I haven't watched them in quite a while, but I remember regretting neither purchase for any reason. I haven't checked the supplements for their English friendliness, so I wouldn't count on that. But the films themselves are terrific and English friendly, with no overlap between the sets. If you want some thoroughly crazy silent shorts, also look into the English friendly Charley Bowers set, if you already haven't.

Oh, I see, I found a review that explains it. The three features are all shown in excerpt on the second disc as part of "In the company of Max Linder". I guess whoever made the entry at filmaf misunderstood the contents. Thanks!
