Would be nice even maybe a collection set of John Woo films to Blu-ray with possible better PQ and AQ as well.

"4k restoration" and "Takashi Miike" are two phrases I never thought I'd see together. This is the bee's knees.

I remember Ichi was shot on digital betacam then print to 35mm? I'm quite curious to find out how that would look on the new 4K restoration.

yes, i think youre right. lots of miike stuff is of course cheap & quick - shot on early digital or similar ... ?

i think the films quite misunderstood, and i am interested to see it on BD, but awaiting reviews first.

Wasn't the restoration for Ichi was done by L'Immagine Ritrovata?

All of these are with Fortune Star, and since their agreement with Shout is ending (the Bruce Lee Selects BDs are going OOP soon), I can see Well Go approaching a licensing agreement with them.

Guys do yo think I can just go ahead and order Better Watch Out and be confident it will be region free? I understand Well Go USA are usually region free but I dont know if that applies to all their releases.
If you don't believe in VR, you haven't tried it!
