Yup. I combined it with the original Volume One and Volume Two, as well as FIRE WALK WITH ME, CD soundtracks, then reorganized the whole thing in chronological order. Listening to it in the car on the way back and forth from work can last for several days.

Exactly. It's 212 tracks of nearly 10 hours of music.

http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/music/...e-david-lynch/

Although if you enjoy Lynch and Badalamenti's music for Twin Peaks, it's a steal at $9.90.

FYI, these are all of the officially released soundtracks for Twin Peaks:

313 tracks—212 of which are included in The Twin Peaks Archive—totaling nearly 16 hours (15:59:30 according to my iTunes) of material.

I usually get pre-orders from Best Buy the Monday before release date. Quite a few times I have received them on Saturday. Looking at the pre-order page now it shows that if you order it today from there it won't get to you until Wednesday.

Thanks, completely forgot about that despite my considering the discounted UK Amaray just the other day.

Totally neglected to mention the orchestral soundtrack to the Limited Event series and the Anthology Resource in my compilation, but they're there, too. The only one I didn't buy is the song soundtrack for the Limited Series. If it ever goes really cheap, I will, but very few songs there compel me to part with my money, TP-connected or otherwise.

I am guessing Amazon UK and others will follow suit soon - and hopefully the same in North America.

Excellent! The sauce is awesome. Thanks for the tip.

Just called Best Buy to make sure they charged me for the adjusted price and the automated service said the package was waiting for the delivery service to pick it up.

I can't believe the Archive is so cheap. When it first came out you bought in bundles of 4-5 tracks for about $3-4 each.

Whoa! When do you think you'll get it then? That's awesome! Thanks for your responses.

IMO this kinda belongs to the 'soundtrack canon' too.

Over/under on how long until this thing hits $40 or less?

...six months.
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.
Dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix.
Angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night.

It is very, very odd. CBS had worldwide encodes with the Star Trek TNG and Twin Peaks Complete Mystery set, but this time around no advance word just a week from release. I would guess "no" because there still isn't a preorder up for Japan, and I'm pretty sure there was last time. In fact episode 18 will finally air here (subtitled) this Friday night, so any release this early would probably upset the market for premium TV.

Haven't pre-ordered a thing. I'm hoping this will be in Best Buy stores Tuesday.

It should be.

Right?
My ten most wanted on Region A Blu-Ray (no particular order): Little Murders (1971), Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle (1994), The Tall T (1957), There's Nothing Out There (1992), The Frightened Woman (aka The Laughing Woman) (1969), The Crimson Pirate (1952), Fade to Black (1980), Get Crazy (1983), Over the Edge (1979), The Black Cat (1934)

Thanks everyone for the info on the soundtracks. That "Archive" set sounds pretty badass.

One thing that I hope doesn't get overlooked is how much of a musical event the third season was. Between the score album, the Roadhouse performances and the Dean Hurley album (not to mention older tracks like "Laura Visits Harold" which was used in at least one scene with the Mitchum brothers), there was a wealth of really great music that was presented in this season.

When I do up my top 10 list for favourite albums of 2017, the score/songs/Dean Hurley albums are all going to sit together in one spot in easily my top 5. It was that great of an experience for me.
Pie in the Sky Wishlist: The Fountain (redux), Superman II (TV version), Watcher in the Woods (extended director's cut), Alien 3 (full workprint), The Private Eyes (deleted scenes), Superman III (TV version)

Right?
When I preordered, store pickup was not an option but I'm not sure if that availability only shows up once it's actually in stores.
