I have not seen it mentioned here yet... but if you are in the market for a new Switch you can pick one up at GameStop for $240 before tax. This week OfficeMax and Office Depot have a deal for 20% $100 giftcards. So you can buy three $100 GameStop gift cards for $240.

Wasn't sure where to post this, as it may get missed in Video Games deals section and it's only for today.
For UK Switch owners, Amazon UK are currently selling the SanDisk 200GB microSD for £50.99.

According to camelcamelcamel it's the lowest price it's been.

________

I had planned on getting a 128GB card, but while the 200GB card is still relatively expensive you are getting an extra 56% storage (actual space 186GB vs 119GB).

That's a great price. Question is do I get it now even though I have no need for it yet, or wait until late next year when the time will come that I likely will need it but risk it still costing more than this. Hmmmm.

A difficult choice.
I was hoping the 128GB card would appear in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, but didn't even consider the 200GB microSD. I do have a 128GB microSD in my phone, so I could just swap it over and get a 64GB card for that.

Relatively expensive but an interesting proposition, especially as (due to game cartridge prices) some games are shipping with 1/2 the game on card requiring a substantial download, for example LA Noire, 14GB download is required.
I know I could fill it, if eventually, and having an extra 67GB is definitely tempting.

Less than 90mins left on this deal, expires midnight UK time.

I don’t understand packaging decisions Amazon makes. Blu-ray movies are in such tight packaging that it crushes the plastic case.... and then there’s this.

I bought a condom for my Pro Controller and the shipping envelope is HUGE!

Here it is on the controller:

The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror, 37, is the 12th and its mirror, 21, is the product of multiplying 7 and 3... and in binary 73 is a palindrome, 1001001, which backwards is 1001001.
Films I'd like to see on Blu-Ray Disc:
Scarface (1932)
ABC Weekend Specials (1977–1995) [TV Movies]

I have a good one too... they shipped my pro controller in a box about 6 times it’s size. Inside as “packing” was 2 completely deflated bubble wrappers and 1 sheet of plain brown paper.

Be glad the packaging was overkill. Bestbuy sent my CE Xenoblade box in the same exact container you had and lets just say it wasn't pretty.

Hello. I need help regarding the WWE 2K17 game coming up for release on the 6th. I'm buying my son the physical copy of the game. My question is will I still need a MicroSD card to play the game or is the SD card needed only if downloading it?

If I do need a card I see one on Amazon that has the Switch name on the SD card? Is this one ready to use out of the gate or would it have to be formatted using the Nintendo tool? I am a total novice to anything technical including formatting an SD card so the easier the better. Thanks!

You need a 32gig at Minimum microsd Card and have to download 24 gigs of the game with the physical copy. Most micro cards will work Sandisk is the best but they cost more if you buy the ones that say Nintendo on the package any sandisk micro card will work.

With the Switch-branded ones, you’re paying a premium just for the name. Any MicroSD card should do, you just need the right size. 32GBs or more will work.

So the ones that say Switch need to be formatted or you can just pop it in the Switch? I'm totally clueless to this kind of stuff and am trying to educate myself. Would you recommend a 32 or go with a higher GB one?

For WWE 2K17, I believe you need at least 32GBs. You can go higher if you wish, for other games. Or if you can get a really good deal on 32, it might be cheaper to pick a couple of them up rather than say 64... it all depends on the price and your intent. I only have 2 games digitally, the rest are physical, so for me I don’t use any.

Here are two screenshots that will help with formatting a MicroSD card.
