Default 7.2 or 5.2.2

Hi all,

I have a couple of spare energy take classic satellite speakers. My sitting position is only a foot and a half away from the backwall.

Should i go place them as SBL and SBR or FHL and FHR?

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

I feel that height will add more of an immersion. In my experience, i.e. 5.1.4 (Atmos) is more immersive than 7.1..of course, it depends on the mix.

I would normally say rears would be better, but since your seating position is so close to the back wall, height is the obvious choice.

Height it is! Thanks.

Before i slap them on to the wall behind my front stage, i would have to move move my aquarium somewhere else maybe in a month or two. For now, can I sit the satellite speakers on top of my SE3 and face it at an angle to the ceiling?
