Was she in the GoTG films? Yes. Can you tell it's her under all that makeup unless you see the name or know beforehand? Probably not. Plus some people may just not remember.
RIP Navster, you were someone I considered a friend and BD.com will always remember you.

I remember being somewhat shocked when I learned that the cute redhead from Oculus played Nebula in the GotG movies.

This has a much more horror friendly release than the last film. Plus it's the solo new wide release outside of expanding films and it's opening wider than the previous. These things are why I expect a slightly higher opening.

Yeah Molly's Game expands here too. Supposed to be around 1,500 theaters. It's done very solid in limited release over Christmas break but I'm not sure it will do all that great when it goes wide. 5-7 Million is what I'm expecting which really isn't bad. It will reach 18-22 Million at least which I always figured was the best case scenario.

Like I said, I haven't seen the films, so I don't know what she looks like really. I just knew she was in them.
"First, a brief preface. Every time I review a film by Jean-Luc Godard, I receive outraged letters from readers who hated it. It is suggested that my reviews and myself join Godard on the trash heap of history; that the customers wuz robbed. A common complaint is that Godard 'made no sense.' And so on." -- Roger Ebert (1966)

Looks like I wont be heading out to the theater this weekend. Not interested in this Insidious entry and I already saw I, Tonya which expands this Friday. So not much else to watch for me.

Next weekend looks a little better with The Post and Paddington 2, then Phantom Thread the week after I think.

Yup. Although this month seems to be lacking. It will pick up in February with Black Panther.

Jumanji's success is surprising me every day. I still need to see it. And Greatest Showman might end up making more than Pitch Perfect 3. What a strange turn of events.

You mean Karen Gillan. Teen boys are flocking to it for her.

I'm fine with this month being a little slower. I have so many movies to catch up on. Can cross three off my last after today (Shape of Water, Jumanji, and All The Money In The World) but have quite a few more to go.

Also The Commuter, Proud Mary, 12 Strong, & the last Maze Runner, plus some other wide expansions like Call Me By Your Name. Kid movies, teen movies, horror, drama, action... pretty full for a slow month, eh?

Difficult weekend to predict. The Rock and Kevin Hart delivered a huge opening weekend for Sony. SW has pulled $530 million in its first 17 days and became the #1 movie of 2017. The Insidious Franchise has done nothing but make money

The 1-3 slots can go either way, it will be very close. I like The Last Jedi the squeak a win.

I like Jumanji by about $5-6 million this weekend as Insidious eats a bit into the SW franchise.
