Received my Deadly Games today via Amazon DE. Slipcase is ever so slightly crushed but I'm not too bothered.

What's next CO?

Edit: just watched this movie for the first time. Really cool flick. Kind of a combination of Rambo and Home Alone.
If sales are good for Arrow Video's Sullivan's Travels then we might get a boxed set of Preston Sturges films from Arrow!

So has anyone checked out the special features on Deadly Games? Debating whether to go with the standard release or not. I've never seen the film so I'm not entirely sure I needed to dive in to 3-disc set.

Gemach, Gemach.

Fazit: alles gut, no worries.

Hope everything’s fine for CO guys just as they state in that message! It’s been quite a lot of time that I haven’t known anything about them!

Same here, they are one of the absolute best in the game. Things have been quiet for quite a while now.

Default Fantastic Planet (1973) Rene Laloux

One of the next releases will be "Fantastic Planet".
CO will use the 2k scan and add lots of bonus material, e.g. the documentary LALOUX SAUVAGE by Florence Dauman
as well as the four short movies by René Laloux, incl. COMMENT WANG-FO FUT SAUVÈ in HD and a portrait of Roland Topor (60 min.).
First edition will be a three disc media book.
Due to license restrictions this release sadly won't be English friendly.

Hope the slow speed of releases/announcements isn’t a sign CO are in difficulty.

I thought historically they were just announcing/working on one movie at a time, while this time they made 3 announcements a while ago and have to do all of them before we get anything else. Meaning it will be the same number of releases over time, just they have to get out of the pipeline before we get back to the regular announcement "schedule"?

No, it always takes time for CO releases but its ALWAYS (!) worth the wait. I think they are one of the best labels in Germany for Italian cult-cinema. I really like their recent direction of releasing a wider range of international cult titles. If anyone remembers the gloriours early days of CO when they did some ultra-rare fan favorites like "Vase de Noces" before becoming the go-to guys for that fine italian-stuff. Wouldn't mind getting that one BD, by the way

Vase de Noces is a hard movie to watch and I can stomach pretty much anything. Yikes.

Some new announcements on Facebook, looks like they’ll be releasing River’s Edge, and also Claudio Fragasso’s Monster Dog.

Both have had blu-ray releases elsewhere, presumably Monster Dog is to be an entry in the IGCC?

NOT really considering it's a co-production between Spain, USA & Puerto Rico.

Hopefully not! I'd like to think that the Italian collection is a bit too classy for a piece of merde like Monster Dog!?

Hi. I see that Freakorama have done a documentary ("Red Carnation") on Duccio Tessari, for you guys. Can you please give us an update as to when your edition of The Bloodstained Butterfly will be released?

Thanks
