Oh man I love this movie, this is great news, I'm going to have to pick this one up!
"Still in all, every night we does the tell, so that we 'member who we was and where we came from... but most of all we 'members the man that finded us, him that came the salvage. And we lights the city, not just for him, but for all of them that are still out there. 'Cause we knows there come a night, when they sees the distant light, and they'll be comin' home."

Could you report if this works in region A? It would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I'm in the UK and only have a region B player but if it's marked as all regions anywhere on the packaging i'll report back.

Haven't watched it yet, but there's a "B" on the backside of the cover.

You don't butt in line! You don't sell drugs! You don't molest little children! You don't profit off the misery of others! The rules were set a long time ago! They don't change!

Ok, I just checked. Switched my player to region "A" and it still played. So, you're good to go if interested.

I'm not sure how I feel about the PQ on this release. It's OK but for starters it's way too dark, scenes at night are really hard to make out at times. I had to pump the brightness up. It also looks artificially sharpened and edge enhanced giving it quite a garish look at times. That said it's still better than the DVD and daytime scenes look the best. I'll be interested to read other people's thoughts.

I noticed the same things. Picture is a little dark at times and the sharpness looked very unnatural.
