For anyone that's been on the fence about it, D.O.A. is currently only $19.06 on amazon right now. Outside of that recent Barnes sale plus coupons this is the lowest I've encountered it being.

FYI, for those like me that don't have prime, it's the same price at Walmart where it's oddly still listed as a preorder that ships on December 7. But I placed an order and the order says it should arrive by January 24.

Thanks! That's a great price, placed an order and came to $16.69 with tax. Now if Black Eagle comes down to $20 I would be really happy about that.

Does anyone know how long these come with slipcovers for? Is it only the first pressing or longer than that?

I don't believe MVD specified, considering the first release has only been out for a little over a month we don't have much to go by.

MVD did indicate on Facebook that all the slipcovers are limited, so my best guess is first pressing only. It’s nice that they are wrapped inside the cellophane, so retailers can’t tamper with them.

Are there any real, practical effects in Abominable? I might check it out if so, but will definitely skip if not.

Interesting choice for the line but I honestly just love how all over the place they are. If it hits that $20 sweet spot I'll be picking this up.

Yes, there are. There's a particularly awesome beheading. The CGI effects were sparse and the fact that they're cleaning them up is a good thing. If I remember correctly, the gore was all done practically.

Yes, I saw it was coming from MVD last week, but I didn't peg it for part of the Rewind Collection, or I would have mentioned it in here. A bit odd, but I guess so are a lot of their choices so far.
