(Cross-posting with the main Entire Mystery thread)

On a tip from the Dugpa board, I turned off the 24fps setting on my player and the problem improved significantly. I'm pretty certain the audio is still infinitesimally behind the video, but it's very watchable now.

And since the first reports came from Europe - and because I'm confident that we all have exactly the same discs and that they weren't manufactured locally - this will probably affect all territories to some degree, but only certain Blu-ray players. And even then, while a firmware upgrade didn't fix it for me, it may for others.

Not exactly a clean solution, Audio sync option in some of the BD players like OPPO might help in fixing this issue.

Agreed. I've never had to jerry-rig my player for a disc like this. And for it to only be necessary for one disc and one title on that disc (I'm pretty sure FWWM itself is fine, though I haven't watched more than a few scenes yet) is strange and frustrating.

If the audio is only out of sync on "The Missing Pieces" then not a problem for me.

If the audio is out of sync on the actual series then this would be a big concern for me.

Same here. Deleted scenes are something I only ever view once (if ever at all, though in this case they're a must-see), so it doesn't really bother me.

The best kind of comedy to me is when you make people laugh at things they've never laughed at, and also take a light into the darkened corners of people's minds, exposing them to the light.

Not selling too many box sets across Brisbane. All 3 stores I went to had at least 3 sets to each store!

One reason for poor sales, while buying the set on a Saturday afternoon, I heard a couple behind me say "Should get that Twin Peaks box set" with a reply "I don't have a Blu-Ray player" Hmmph. Bunch of savages in this town.
Give me Blu-Ray or give me death.

Streaming sucks!

Doesn't disc 10 have the fire walk with me deleted scenes? The holy grail of Twin Peaks special features.

Started rewatching it today

Watching the international version of the pilot and at the 1hour:34 mark there is a face in the mirror above the mothers head

Anyone else notice that

Since you said you're rewatching, have a read of this Particularly the conceptual history section. Much like Gordon Cole's hearing problem, it's one of the happy accidents that the series wouldn't be the same without.

Nice little bit of trivia

Im a little sad its coming back in a way [even though im a huge Lynch fan] but when it was on TV there was hardly any internet but now it seems there will be people out there with even the most insignificant news or spoilers so im going to avoid them

How many edition of this was done?mystery set and what else? Was there a set that was better than others if so which one.
I yet to buy this and have seen the limited new edition overseas so i either get both overseas or both here.
I like how the limited edition packing comes apart in new set but im unsure about the first edition of the older seasons.
