I emailed my information to info@cohen media.net in regards to a replacement disc for Howards End but never received an email back confirming anything. Anybody have a different experience?

Me too. I predict "Brandon Peters" will come through for us. His e-mails were cordial & sincere, and after almost four months he DID finally get back to all of us. Let's hang in there.

Is it reasonable to expect Cohen will acknowledge every email? Or just that they will send the replacement disc? I assumed the latter.

The Damned from Cohen seems oop. Anyone know where to still get this, or have a copy for sale?

Do you suppose that they’ll be adding A Room With A View to their Merchant Ivory collection, or would that be unlikely considering it’s already part of the Criterion Collection?

It'll probably stay with Criterion, or at least until the license is up.

A Room with a View was only co-produced by Merchant/Ivory and isn't part of the Cohen M/I Library for that reason.

I hope they announce La Belle Noiseuse soon. A good release of that film in the U.S. has been a long time coming.

Does Heat and Dust provide English SDH? I mean, are English dialogues also subtitled? The film uses three languages and I remember Cohen didn't subtitle the English dialogues for their Two Men in Manhattan (which uses French & English) Blu.

The database says it has English SDH, but the review doesn't elaborate on the issue and I want to be sure.

Can someone please tell me why Cohen waste their time putting small useless booklets in their releases? There is never an essay talking about the film, just a few pictures along with the credits and chapter names. Why do they even go through the expense of putting such a useless pamphlet together?

There's quite a nice essay in the booklet for The Thief of Bagdad. Though that's the only Cohen BluRay I own.
Always so many BluRays. Never enough money.

Movies that need a US BluRay release: Roman Holiday, The Lost Weekend, Ruggles of Red Gap, A Night at the Opera,The Testament of Dr. Mabuse, The Naked City, Brute Force

There is an excellent 4 page interview of Curtis Harrington on James Whale in The Old Dark House booklet. I like the Cohen blus. I wish they would release a lot more....

Ordered my first Cohen titles- looking forward to watching them all this weekend.
-Mustang
-Swerve
-Last Passenger
Regarding Last Passanger- was this their first release? It seems to be the only one that doesn’t include their trademark cover.
