I was on the fence a smidge between this version and the Aussie box sets, but after the videos I'll stick with these versions. The most tempting part about the Aussie one was the extras you get, but I think I'd prefer these posters, plus they're cheaper and more compact. Now to wait for a price drop.

Cool how posters are included for each film. I'd have expected maybe one double sided poster per box with each phase's Avenger's film maybe.

It's a cheap release. A Winter Soldier poster with First Avenger cast printed on it? Really? I wanted this but i will pass.

My Zavvi Steelbook of the first Cocoon has the sequel's actors/cast on the back instead.

That's pretty funny. I already have a Winter Soldier movie poster, so it doesn't annoy me too much, and definitely not enough to pass on it.

Random thought here. If they were to release a Phase 3 boxset in the future, would they struggle with Spider-Man Homecoming being a Sony release?

They might have a similar deal that they do with The Incredible Hulk where they can distribute it in a boxset, but who knows?

There's a 10% discount on Zavvi at the moment with XMASBOX10.

Couldn't they have dumped the tat and included the 3D discs?

Are these (going) OOP already?

Was going to pick these up when they first came out but never got around to it, went to order them today and the Blu-Ray versions were either out of stock or priced at £60+ where they were in stock.

Got them from HMV at the ~£30 prices in the end.

It's possible, I noticed they've gone OOS on both Amazon UK and Zavvi in the last few weeks. I guess time will tell if there's going to be a restock or not.

Why is this such a limited release? These are contemporary movies that will see huge sales

Dumb. Not paying dumbass eBay prices

More to the point, how long do we have to wait for a Phase 3.1 boxset with the first few films?

They were fairly priced day 1 and obviously didn’t want stock left over they had to discount to clear. Given the release date late last year were obviously timed for the Christmas gift market where people are happy to buy more expensive boxsets as presents.

Almost certainly boxes 1 and 2 will appear in a new style when they are ready to release volume 3.

Phase 3 won’t be complete for a few years yet will it??

I mean there’s always a complete x men set available, you’d expect the same from marvel universe

Phase Three ends with Avengers 4 which comes out next year, so there isn't long to go now.

I picked both sets up about 3 weeks ago from Sainsbury’s, like you I will not pay extortionate prices from flea bay
