Im still not sure about this release but ive now got the australian 40th anniversary edition on route-got it for just £16 from a seller in new zealand who ive bought off before.
keep looking if you want this its very quickly dropping in price, only a couple of weeks ago it was over £30.
will have a good hard look when the crowdfunder version arrives but might just sell it on.
wonder how many others will do the same thing,i do think cultfilms could have handled this a lot better as i think it will effect peoples decision to help fund future projects.

I was half expecting this to be a disaster of epic proportion yet still supported it, a delay is hardly earth-shattering but on the back of the misinformation about the casing? It's perhaps getting there! At the very least, this has bee Ill-informed and organised from the beginning. And to think that this outfit have Argento's Opera in the UK? I dread to think what will befall that release...

The Cult Films version does look to have more bonus features which will be of interest even to those of us who have every version of the film going, however we already know what the film itself will look like so from that viewpoint it's already lost.
I agree the Synapse 3 year gestation got tiresome and bordered on the preposterous but as they delivered on what was promised, and then some I think they can be forgiven

Probably 84 Entertainment, but I can't find it listed anywhere at the moment. They released the previous 40th Anniversary TLE restoration last year so I assume it will be them.

I've had a scan through this thread and it's seems to be all about extra and 4k. My question is: The edition that is currently being sold be Amazon and HMV for £14.99; is this a limited edition? I'm interested in picking this up but not sure if I should wait or not.

Well, this thread is about the Indiegogo campaign release.

The slipcase edition (sold on Amazon and HMV) is a LE:

Not sure what you would be waiting for?

Thanks. I'm not overly excited to buy it, but at the same time would be disappointed down the line if it was sold out. So just wanted to check if it was a standard or limited release. I'll probably end up buying it now just to be sure.

Apologies if this has been already answered but I havenít been following this thread.

I was under the assumption that the slip cover Blu Ray/dvd was limited to 3000 copies, but yet mine came today from Amazon number 4802, any ideas?

I think it's been mentioned they extended the run.

I just wish the email was clear about how they want us to supply them with that information...

I was wondering the same thing since there isn't a link in the email.
, if they can't even get a simple email right then it doesn't bode well for this release
