That’s it for today. Will buy the Fun Card, $89.99 for a year. Single day was that, now on sale for $69.99. 10 minutes away, so we can got 2-3 times.

Slept night before with a sleeping pill, but I hate taking them. Last night slept from 11-3:30 without. Jet lag gets worse every year.

Well that is a good deal you got.

I have a rough go with the time change when it is only an hour difference when I have to travel to Alabama or Nashville. So your, what is it, 8 hours difference?

Nothing special going on here. Work....eat....sleep.

How's the vacation so far Mr. T?

I decided to take a four day weekend since we were not that busy at work for today and Monday.

Loafer...

At least I have President's Day later this month to look forward to being off - then the long run until Memorial day...

Bought a couple computer-related items on sale from Best Buy earlier this week, with 12 month 0% financing... I ordered a new HP Color Laserjet M477fdn for my home network, and I'll be picking it up at the local UPS hub after work today. Didn't want it delivered and sitting on the front porch all day. No more futzing around with those damn inkjet printers and all their issues any more.

On the same order, I also got an 8 TB USB 3.0 external hard drive, with a WD Red NAS drive inside. Only $159 for an 8 TB hard drive now!

I own a Epson Inkjet since we don't do a lot of printing and it is a much better inkjet printer than any other HP's I have had in the past.
Hope you don't get sticker shock when you need to replace the toners.

The toner cartridge in my monochrome Samsung laser printer I have lasted me close to 4 years before I had to replace it - and it has about the same page count life as the cartridges in this color printer. I don't use my printer at home very heavily. I don't think I'll mind paying $100 a pop for a toner cartridge every once in a great while, when I'm used to importing Japanese anime at $250-$350 for a single season...

0k. Haven’t eaten enough Mexican food though. Rubio’s in the mall which used to be good, but now owned by Pepsi I think, and is just fast food. And Taco Bell.

Had a decent porterhouse at Outback for lunch and been eating a lot at home...have to just for 2 adults and 1 kid Outback with tip was 92 bucks.

Have you been able to eat enough Mexican now? Or how about some good Italian food? What else have you done? Read there was an earthquake off your home island. Any word from home?

Not enough food. Never enough.

Everything is ok with family in Taiwan, but quakes and aftershocks are bad. Epicenter is right off our hometown.

Oh interesting. I thought the epicenter was near the east southern part of the island. When do you go back?

Around 10 miles from Hualien City. Aftershocks have been over 5.0, earthquakes in their own right.

We ate hot pot (Shabu Shabu) here all the time.

This hotel, we have had friends stay at and also had had Dim Sum there a couple times.

Both places are a few minutes drive from home.

Wow, amazing how that one building didn't fall completely over. I would've hated to have been inside that building on an upper floor during the quake - what a sickening feeling to fall halfway and stop. I guess that's better than being on one of those bottom few floors, though...

And yes, I hope all is well at your place...
