Yeah. So it becomes £22.50 for 2 Criterions whenever Zoom has the offer, which isn't bad at all.

The SIGNUP10 code works multiple times with Zoom. A loophole they seem to turn a blind eye to.

I bet it pays them - pretty much guarantees that all my Criterion pre-orders go to Zoom!

Watched 'Lord of the Flies' (1963) last night, for those who have seen it, what were your thoughts?

I absolutely hated the first ten or so minutes, but aside from the audio sync issues the film suffers throughout I actually quite enjoyed it. It was beautifully shot, I must say.

Has anyone noticed if anything new has been added to Filmstruck in the last week?

After I couldn't get it working on my TV I haven't even looked at it

I can have a look for you now, see if anything has changed.

Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but Blackboard Jungle, Kiss me Kate and Pink Cadillac are all recently added.

In fairness, I know the Criterion edition would be nicer, but the current Blu we have is pretty good all things considered.

Those were all there from launch. Blackboard Jungle is a personal favourite, would def recommend. I canít tell if Paranoid Park is a new addition or not. I *think* the Gus Van Sant section is new, bar My Own Private Idaho.

The big news today is that Janus Films / Criterion will release a 4K restoration of Olivier Assayas' Cold Water in US cinemas. Considering the amount of time, money and effort that will have went into it, I think it's likely they would have got UK rights for home video as well.

Got an email from mubi to tell me my price was jumping from £20 a year to £60 (as a long time subscriber they froze the price for 2 years when it went up) so seems like an excellent time to give filmstruck a go instead!
