You could not say that this is true, because you have only two examples, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.
On the other hand, they made many 4K remastered Full HD Blu-rays like Gladiator, Apollo 13, Breakfast Club, Spartacus, Out of Africa, etc.

The dead, empty eyes make her even creepier...

I just love that in an attempt to make the jeep scene "family friendly", the Lego video game has Nedry shove a chicken leg in the dinosaur's mouth before chased off.

At the same time, Universal Pictures will re-re-re-re--release the regular Blu-ray as well.... As well as The Land Before Time (1988) We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993)

I don't want the collection, because I know there will be one last Jurassic World movie coming out in three years. What's the point in having a movie collection if it's not going to have every movie? I'll get the individual releases instead.

My problem with all of these sets that keep getting released is that we know there is always another one coming. We've got the second one releasing later this year and then another in 3 years so it'll never be "complete". I'm hoping Vudu does a digital sale on these films or I can get them for cheap closer to JW2 releasing this summer.

I've been dying to rewatch all of these.

No new features for the 25th anniversary? Like, not even one? Really? Wow, Uni.

Oh well. Money in my pocket, then.

Yes, Universal is lazy. Not even a new Anniversary Blu-ray with the new transfer for part one.....

I'm sure there's a placeholder for Fallen Kingdom.

But yes, I agree. I'll wait until after JW3 is released. Presumably the 30th Annibersary set lol.

4K HDR for all films. I couldn't think of any new bonus that could outweigh getting to see these in 4K HDR, I'd be happy to get just the 4 discs with the films, I bet 90% of people interested in these films already have the previous releases anyway.

You actually think they will stop making JW films after JW3? MCU has taught the studios to keep cranking sequels out for popular franchises until you can no longer make any more money on them.

By the time they stop making JW films and there is an actual definitive set, physical media will most likely be long dead.

This is why I've never bought any of those "complete" collections of the Fast & Furious movies.

You actually think Jurassic Park is going to turn into a never ending series? I don't think so.

Universal always intended Jurassic World to be a trilogy.
