I love Irma Vep, and Assayas in general, so I cannot wait for that one. I hope it does sufficiently well for Arrow to look into releasing some more of his older work (I realise Criterion have some of that).

Mubi were showing it recently, and that seemed to be a pretty fresh-looking HD master - it looked excellent.

Yes, and I for one can't wait for Arrow Academy editions of Species, Dante's Peak and Cadillac Man!

Or if we're really lucky, finally a collector's edition of this:

Would anyone object to Arrow releases of The Bounty, No Way Out and Thirteen Days?

(I appreciate that last one is particularly unlikely, but you get my point)

I wouldn't.

The Bounty's pedigree is obvious but I have a lot of time for the other two too. Imported both long ago, but would double dip for Arrow editions.

Yeah I'm happy with Shout and TT's releases but they could probably be improved upon with reasonable effort. The extras for Thirteen Days are pretty comprehensive though, I'm glad I got that one just before it went OOP. I wouldn't be surprised to see it turn up in the Premium Collection line though, providing it is still with Warner (not sure why the US release went OOP).

Disney have it for the UK, so we're SOL....

The other two are with MGM though so plenty of opportunities there.

All those Academy releases look fascinating, another killer month by the label.

either that or people react to it in a pretty dramatic fashion.

i would still like the suzuki set, and at 65% sold out there was a chance of it being there when it qualifies for a sale discount, which is more of a criteria for me these days as i have seen far too much drop too dramatically. as it is, the title pretty much disappeared (at the £32.99 price) within 24 hours of the newsletter, which i've not seen happen quite like that before. yes, a few have gone very quickly, but i wouldn't have expected it from this set or from that position.

I think this may be like the Dekalog panic. It was sold out from the Arrow store and it looked to be going OOP, but it is still in stock all this time later at about 2/3 of what I paid. Plus the US version of Suzuki is still available. I would like to know how many of the Suzuki sets they kept for their store.

Sorry to ask a possibly dumb question but here goes:

Made my first order from the new Arrow site on Tuesday, a £25 pre-order paid using my Paypal balance. Just checked and Arrow haven't yet added my points to my account. Is it now normal for it to take so long or come Monday should I fire off an email to customer services?

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

I can only go by recent experience with the new website but they seem to go on around the time the order is processed, So could take a day or so.
Films I would like to see on Blu Ray (In no particular order) : The Phantom Lady (1944) Local Hero (1983) The 7 Faces of Dr Lao (1964) Martin (1977) Straight To Hell (1980) Escape From Sobibor (1987) The Phantom Tollbooth (1970) The Amazing Mr. Blunden (1972)

Excited for Irma Vep, which is a film I love. For once the artwork is great too. Really looking forward to Black Venus too. Blue Is The Warmest Colour and Secret Of The Grain are classics, but Iíve not seen this yet.

Okay so it’s officially been 7 weeks since my Arrow sale order shipped.

I think it’s time I send them an email. I believe I’ve been more than patient.

Just to check again, have people been receiving Cat O Nine Tails or Suzuki Vol 1 from Arrow yet? (Disregarding the early faulty batch of Cat)

Or are these still delayed. Being legacy orders, and therefore not receiving shipping notifications, I want to make sure I'm on top of it to make sure it's not a repeat of what happened with Carrie for so many people.
