Kinda funny story. Way back when, no one in my family believed Return to Oz existed. After I would tell them the plot, they were convinced it was just some crazy dream I had.

I will definitely be buying Wizard of Oz on Blu one day though (after the boycott). Not particularly interested in whatever edition this will probably be though. I just want the movie and some good extras. Don't need no whatever else is in that box

It's less jarring here than on Gone With the Wind, but the blue Blu-ray stripe needs to go if they use that wide artwork on the outside. Use stickers and the small, white "b" logo only.

It's probably the same thing as the I Am Legend box set. It's just part of a paper insert.

Not thrilled with the box box theory. I'd rather just have a regular bd case. I wonder if we'll get a digi-book release later down the road. I'll still get the damn thing. I'll have to find room for it somewhere. That whole "limited" edition thing is crap. They'll probably be putting 100k copies out.

I understand why some of these collector's editions are popular but I really just want a hi-def version of the film and don't need all of the fluff. Why is it that WB isn't putting out collector's editions AND standard editions for people like me? Is it that bad to actually just enjoy the film and not want an entire shelf taken up by some fluff box set????

I will definitely be getting this! I'm actually happy that they're putting it in a nice box set with decent packaging. They did a spectacular job on the last DVD release, so I hope the Blu-ray exceeds my expectations.

I believe this film was shot on 70mm so it should look really good!

I'll probably buy as long as it's in suitable casing etc. This is one of my favourite films so they better have done a great job with it hehe :P I love Return to Oz too
