Default Most Underrated Character?

Who's your favorite character from a movie that doesn't get as much credit as you think they should?

Mine would be Aaron Eckart as Dent. I think he is INCREDIBLY overshadowed by Ledger's utterly incredible effort as the joker, i personally he played his part perfect and doesnt get enough recognition.

Who's yours?

i agree with you and Mark Wahlberg in the Departed he is sourned by great actors and everyone seems to forgot him in the movie but he probally has the best proformance in The Departed

One actor who comes to mind numerous times is Brendan Gleeson. His characters are usually minor, but always memorable:

Monk in Gangs of New york
Hamish in Braveheart
Menelaus in Troy
Ken in In Bruges was overshadowed by Colin Farrell

We should be friends

Wesley is sort of underrated in Buffy. People didn't like him till Angel. While Angel s4, when he's with Lilah (<33333) was amazing I liked him from beginning to end.

MUCH agreement on Mark Wahlberg's part in The Departed and Brendan Gleeson in... well... everything. We was even good as Mad-Eye Moody.

When you are second banana to Han Solo, no amount of fur or height is gonna save your butt.

CHEWBACCA!!

It's amazing but he is taken for granted all the time. In the many threads about SW here: How many even mention his name? And it's not like he is not a memorable character either. Grossly underrated.
