Default Mitsubishi DLP: Diamond Series vs. Non Diamond... difference?

I just purchased a Mitsubishi 65" DLP last month and I have seen a similar model TV in the past for several hundred dollars more in The Diamond Series.

What is the difference in picture quality between Diamond Series and the non-Diamond Series?

All I have been able to tell is that the Diamond Series seems to have more menu options.

What else is going on with these D. series models that I'm not aware of?

Go to the product specs tab, the red diamond means it's a feature exclusive to the Diamond series. They explain the purpose of the feature if you click on it.

You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you. They will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

But the Diamond series has the lovely piano black cabinet and those really cool blue lights. Seriously though, I got the 736 series when I bought mine because I just couldn't justify the $600-800 increase to get the Diamond model. It sure does have a pretty cabinet though.

Actually I had the WD 73835 D. There is quit a bit a difference between the two. If you can't see the difference great. But I for one definitely noticed a far greater picture during motion, color and black levels. And yes the cabinet is a lot prettier too!
