Creepshow is just like Creepshow 2 only CS1 has 5 stories. Just get it can't go wrong with Stephen King and George Romero.

If you liked #2, then the first is a sure bet. You'll love it. I like both movies, but the first is undoubtedly the best. Gory, funny, great actors. I got mine in the mail yesterday, and I'm gonna buy a ton of candy and enjoy it this weekend.

He's correct. If you liked the 2nd, you will definitely like the first. I'm sure any video store wil have the dvd for rental, if you don't want to blind buy.

The first Creepshow is only like $14 on blu-ray, a real no-brainer.

I'll look for any excuse to participate in a discussion about Creepshow. I love Hal Holbrook's performance in the film. He is so sympathetic, even in the end. What he does is so believable and justified, even though it is absurd.

Another great anthology film is the original, early seventies Tales From the Crypt. It is fairly cheap and easy to get on DVD. If you enjoy Creepshow at all, and like horror, you will love this. Twilight Zone and Black Sabbath are also quite good.

I agree with much of that list. I thought From Beyond the Grave was very lame. And Vault of Horror isn't good horror, but it is hilarious at times. Also surprised Trilogy of Terror isn't on there.

Speaking of Creepshow is there anybody having trouble finding it like me? As Tuesday I went to my local Walmart to get Creepshow on Blu-Ray only to find out Walmart did not have it.Well then I went to Best Buy and they too did not have it,and then I went to Kmart and they as well did not have it.And lastly I went to see if FYE had it and no luck there either. So I finaly gave up and came home and order it from Amazon. Have not received it yet but it has been shipped. Looking forward to watching this horror classic in HD.
And yeah I also loved Creepshow 2. And sorry I have yet scene Creepshow 3 as I been told it was terrible.

The first Creepshow is a minor classic in my book. Loved the segment with Stephen King himself doing the acting. He was surprisingly good!

Creepshow 2 wasn't quite as good as the first, but "The Raft" alone was worth the price of admission. I hope to see it on blu someday as well.

Haven't seen the late-in-the-game cash-in known as Creepshow 3 yet, but I heard some awful things about it. The creators of the first 2 had nothing to do with it. I'm sure I'll still watch it someday though. I'm a sucker for cheap horror.

They had a section for single Stories from Anthology film and for Trilogy of Terror it was the one with the Zuni Fetish doll.

The Crate story is still one of the scariest moments in horror history. I remember seeing that as a young boy in the 80's and having nightmares of that damn beasts face for weeks. The Crate Monster and also the Gremlin from the airplane story in The Twilight Zone movie.....horrific creatures, the both of them.
Big Tits Zombie

-Action

No synopsis for Big Tits Zombie.

(don't think it needs one, fellas. Pretty self explanatory.)

Just watched it last night. Must say I was surprized at the PQ, given the source. My Old DVD of this one Looks so bad I hadin't watched it in years. Great short stories. Always good for Halloween! Oh and the AQ was bad as reported. Voices to soft sound effects to loud. Even with night mode engaged.

Nothing hits it dead on. Creepshow is one of my all time personal favorites. Ranks up there with The Evil Dead series (slightly scary, kinda gorey, and very fun(ny)). Creepshow 2 was pretty good but not nearly as well done as the first. I notice alot of folks like The Raft, but I always thought The Hitchhiker was the best short. Im so glad to finally have Creepshow now on Blu with an awesome PQ, despite the weak audio.

BTW- Warning to all who read this thread!!

If you haven't seen Creepshow 3, I would say you are blessed. Try and sit through it if you can, but it will eat away at you just knowing you'll never get those 90 minutes of your life back. Second worst movie I've seen since Ankle Biters.
