Mine would be Dark City - sure it's not the best bluray (technically speaking), but when my screen goes up that will be blu-ray number 1, just love that movie. Then probably Blade Runner.

Another I would consider is Sunshine!! Something about the movie I love, the visuals, its space, and its got a pretty crazy story.

I've never seen Dark City, I've read a few reviews on it and it seemed a bit strange but I am always willing to try out a new movie!

I watched Blade Runner on my 2.35 screen for the first time last week (I always watched it on my 16:9 before that) and it was awesome!

I'm a bit biased, but I love that movie. Many people do bash the acting, but I love the entire story and the movies message to the viewer. Absolutely outstanding and that's all I'll say about that. You are in for a treat, especially since you didn't watch the narrated theatrical cut that ruined the story.

I keep hearing many awesome reviews from people on this---I need to Rent it & see if it's worth owning. The AUDIO & VIDEO are both said to be Top-Shelf on this Bluray.

Another one I need to check out, tho' I doubt my Bl-Buster has it. Might be a blind buy, i've heard it's pretty cool (not too much $$$ at Amazon lately either I believe)

Hello forsberg21.

I want to start by apologizing for not posting in your thread sooner. In most respects, you can be considered a "homeboy"! Lancaster is only 45 minutes to an 1 hour away from me. Rte 896 north to 741 north to route 30 west!
Not to mention, you are a dye in the wool FLYERS' fan!

Watching a hockey game in your cave must sound like your at Wachovia Center. You have a very strong set up! The dual SVS's must shake the foundation!
Where do you go to audition equipment? Do you ever visit Wee Bee, Glick or Max AV?

Regards.

Hey buddy---actually Fors' only has the 1 SVS Sub "for now" anyway. He has, like myself, a Polk PSW-10 as his Secondary (complimenting) Sub.

I'll prob. add a 2nd PA-120 in a few months & I know he really wants a 2nd Water Heater, errrrrr, SVS Sub in 2010 sometime.

Well looks as if you had an Interesting Conversation yesterday Afternoon.

First off Shame on You for Not getting the New Alice In Chains. One of My All Time Favorite early to mid 1990's Band. But when the lead singer died I never really listened to them anymore.

Its a shame he could really wail.Unique voice and really gifted. But I guess when you reach fame like that too many Vices are available.

Hey, what's up Idgibson? I am a Flyers fan, so guilty as charged. You are pretty close to me for sure. I was born and raised in Lower Bucks County, so you would be even closer if I still lived there.

As far as the SVS subs...I have one and will eventually get two. But even the one does a great job. I know other members who have 2 SVS subs, and they say it really rocks the foundation.

As far as listening to equipment...none of those places are really near me. I have found small, "mom and pop" type high end audio stores, and I try to listen to anything they may have. Although it has been a long time since I have done this (not since my son was born 8 months ago....)

I need to get out more often, no doubt!

Your equipment is awesome. I am trying to get to a level that is similiar to what equipment you have, but it will take some time....but you have outstanding tastes!
