Bay's film are more fast pace. In my opinion.
Although, both make long movies. I'll go with Bay. Less of the two evil. Can't stand Emmerich cheese-fest celebration. Whether after putting down aliens far more advance than us, or escaping ice wind and yellow stone eruption. Emmerich somehow always finds a way for us to beat the odds.
