The subs are removable but are automatically on even if you have the film set to English. So, mid way during the film, German subs will pop up for that one scene. Now, onto Fright Night aka Dementia 13, the film is upscaled to 1080/50i and only has German dubbing on the disc. Even Dementia 13 is 4:3 non-anamorphic widescreen transfer that has the black bars on the top and bottom and then upscaled so it has bars on all sides. Also, Dementia 13 only has German dubbing. No English audio is present for the film. It's horrible quality."
