Isn't this the BD release here even though it is currently not in stock?

For those who are willing a couple more months, the Summer Wars/Girl Who Leapt Through Time double-pack here is probably a better option.

as far as i can tell, that's the anime movie appearing on BD for the first time.

unfortunately, in this amazon listing, there's details missing and the date may be wrong. however, the anime film hasn't appeared on BD in the UK before, and there's a release for it (along with a dual-pack with 'summer wars'; by the same director) listed elsewhere.

the timing is unfortunate, as not only is stylejams 'time traveller' making it out here at a similar time, but both are associated with the original story of 'a girl who leapt through time' without being the same actual story overall; one's a retelling, one's a side story or prequel.... something like that.

it's not really a massive mistake, as far as mistakes go.

if anything, it makes it slightly more obvious that both of these are out there (soon) and that there's a need to check what you're ordering first.
