LG BD390 Check Disc Error? - Blu-ray Forum

So my lg bd390 will not play some discs of mine(Invincible, Million Dollar Baby, Casablanca). It gives me a check disc error and ejects the discs. I played these blus in another player and they worked fine. Im guessing its my player. I have the latest firmware and all.

Does anybody know what is wrong or how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem with my bd390 (region B), getting the same message for more and more discs. Even those blus that used to play perfectly on it won't load anymore! I'm having most problems with Lionsgate, Optimum and Icon's releases. Tried to find the fix on various forums on the internet, but it looks it's a hardware issue as no one managed to fix it by up/downgrading the firmware. So irrittating as it worked brilliantly before it started acting up.
