I can't wait to get this film, but will wait for the Cine Asia release as it will most likely have a Bey Logan commentary

And if this movie actually has a good story, it's best to wait for the Cine Asia release to get the best translated subtitles.

Watched this version today. Some pros and cons:
Pros:
-Strong AQ, and incredible LFE
[Show spoiler](especially during the final act)
.
-PQ is very good. Solid detail on landscape, backround and clothing especially.

Cons:
-English subtitles are acceptable, but there are several problems (lack of correct punctuation throughout, subtitles will move very fast on numerous occasions, certain words not capitalized while other words that shouldn't be are, spelling errors).
-Waxy faces on some characters, but not all (possibly due to DNR -- would need to see screenshots of other versions to know for sure).
-No translation of opening credit text or of an important sign in the early part of the movie.
-Company watermark during the credits (very noticeable and directly in the center of the screen).

This version is ok. I would wait on a review of the HK release to see if the problems above are present or not.

Please note to people waiting for the UK release, it will likely be cut by 30 seconds - 1 minute due to horse tripping scenes. There is an Australian version (by Roadshow) coming out on May 19 as well for those in Region B territories. That version should be uncut, but you might want to wait until someone confirms if it is OAR or matted/cropped.

Well Go has picked this up for US distro, which means sometime this summer we'll get a theatrical release with a Blu-ray following closely. Well GO haven't licensed any of the horse tripping movies (Warlords, etc.) before, so I don't know if we have to look for cuts with that edition.
TV - Panasonic TC-P50U50 | Blu-ray - Insignia NS-WBRDVD2 - Toshiba BDX1100 | Receiver - Onkyo TX-SR607 | Fronts - Technics Towers | Center - Infinity PC251 | Surrounds - Technics Minis | Sub - BIC America V1220

That's unlikely. The USA doesn't care about horse falls or animal cruelty in films in terms of censorship.
"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment."

That is my initial thought, as well. I could ask them.
