Which question, is there any difference between the promotional release and the retail release?

Did the original 3D release have a slipcover? Or was it just in a white case with a little depth on the cover? I ask this because we recently got a new copy into our BBY and the case is white but the cover is normal and yet it has a slipcover this time around.

Can anyone confirm if the 2010 3D release had a slip?
