I just finished "Listen" by Rene Gutteridge. It was Barnes & Noble's free Nook book of the week.
Book Description Nothing ever happens in the small town of Marlo . . . until the residents begin seeing their private conversations posted online for everyone to read. Then it’s neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend, as paranoia and violence escalate. The police scramble to identify the person responsible for the posts and pull the plug on the Website before it destroys the town. But what responsibility do the people of the town have for the words they say when they think no one is listening? Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Once I started reading it, I just couldn't put it down.
"Apes of Wrath", I love puns.

I just finished The Confession by John Grisham. It wasn't bad but it was a little too preachy about how evil the death penalty is. I read Grisham's books for the story, not for his political views. I was a big fan of Grisham's early work but haven't liked the last couple books of his that I've read and probably won't read him anymore.
Not sure what book I'll start next, maybe The Godfather. |

Just finished The Startup Game, by Bill Draper who, along with lesser VCs is largely responsible for making Silicon Valley the hub of technology that it is. Draper's son Tim is also a huge investor in startups here in Silicon Valley. Bill worked for the UN to help 3rd world countries grow their entrepreneurial talent, and also funds social entrepreneurs to deliver resources and healthcare around the world.

I just finished The Godfather. It was a pretty good book. Virtually everything that happens in the movie happened in the book, and much of the dialogue was taken verbatim from the book. The book also featured Vito's backstory and rise to becoming Godfather and the Vegas storyline that was prominent in The Godfather: Part II, and it also has Johnny Fontane as a major character. The book's ending was somewhat different than the movie and not as good in my opinion but I would definitely recommend the book to anyone who liked the movie.

I recently finished A Drink Before the War, by Dennis Lehane. Great read.
