The review will be up later tonight.

The screener I was sent is Region-Free.

I don't have a reason to believe that the market version isn't because the English subtitles are imposed. If they were optional, it would have been a different story

Region-Free.

I don't know if it comes with a slip. I only have a screener

Excellent review. Being a fan Guillermo Del Toros work on both Pans Labyrinth and The Orphange this is a no brainer for me.

I loved The Orphanage and Belen Rueda is a great actress (and sexy as hell) but I am somewhat surprised by the rave reviews this has got. I found the film to be entirely predictable and not scary in the slightest. May get it when its a budget price maybe

Thumbs up

Just got the movie in from France last night. It is Region Free!! The film looks and sounds great. no complaints from my end. I wasn't sure what to expect from the film but overall it was a great drama/suspense/thriller. Def worth the buy!

This was recently reduced to 5.99 on amazon, received it and watched it tonight. The transfer on my copy has a very thin white line running along the entire right hand side of the screen. Obviously, it's being returned. Anyone else had a J.E. bd with the same problem?

No, I don't have such a problem on my BD. It looks excellent.

Must be my bad luck. Hopefully it's a one-off, rather than a mass faulty batch.

the only thing I noticed on mine was banding on walls in some of the blue tinted shots. But I put that down to the technique used rather than a compression related artifact.
