Anyone giving this game a try?
While it's free to play, to really get anywhere it does cost $20 per premium civilization, but so far it's a pretty decent game imo and im leaning towards getting a premium account. Anyone who liked the aoe series should check this game out, let me know because it would be nice to team up and co-op some quests. |

I tried it and hated it
The interface was confusing, and Im a vet of AOK AOM and AOE3. I played through the first few missions and it felt lame. Find 2 berry patches. Find 2 sheep. I want to play Joan of Arc. William Wallace. Atilla the Hun. Not random missions Not a fan of the art style. It looks like a high resolution AOM complete with low polygon counts Not enough civilizations. Price is too high to unlock everything ($99). $99 is insane for a game with so little content. No single player (online only), no map editor. It makes little sense. It should cost $20 max to unlock everything considering theres just 2-3 civilizations I spent $50 on AOK a decade ago and Im still spending time with it. With no map editor and few civilizations this will get old quick if I even cared enough to play it
