I thought that setting the monitor as a HDTV was a very good idea. But now i know it wasn't. My graphic card has two DVI outputs. And considering 1080p resolution for Blu-Ray movies if my monitor has both DVI and HDMI inputs is it a better idea to use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect the graphic card to the monitor or it won't make any difference and so i can use a DVI-DVI cable. Too late !! you have already answered to my last question! Last edited by Malik; 01-20-2008 at 08:25 PM. |

I can't decide between these two monitors:
1) Iiyama ProLite B2403WS -B1 http://www.materiel.net/ctl/Ecrans_L...2403WS_B1.html 2 ) Belinea o.display 4.1_24" W http://www.materiel.net/ctl/Ecrans_L..._4_1_24_W.html Sorry it is a french website Both are about 500 euros (740 dollars) so it is not a matter of price for me ... |

As for DVI-DVI/DVI-HDMI it doesn't really matter - you'll get the same picture in the end.

Really like this one mainly because of the HDMI support as well as the Gloss Finish. I have the previous model Gateway but this one is a little better with the added features. If anyone wants to buy my previous 24 inch model let me know. |

BTW, you should probably get that Gateway. It's a heck of a monitor.
